Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

General & Booking Information
Fly Park Compare is an airport parking comparison website. We search and compare prices, service types, and security features from a wide network of trusted parking providers across various UK airports, helping you find the best deal for your trip.
Airport parking prices are often managed dynamically, similar to flight tickets. Booking as far in advance as possible secures the best rates, which are significantly cheaper than the expensive 'turn up and park' gate prices on the day.
The price displayed on our comparison results page is the final, all-inclusive price for the parking period you selected, including any booking fees and VAT. Any additional fees (e.g., airport access charges) are clearly stated in the product description.
We compare the following main types: Meet & Greet (Valet): Drop your car at the terminal entrance and a driver parks it for you. Park & Ride: Park your car at a secure compound and take a free shuttle bus to the terminal. On-Airport: Parking within the airport grounds, often the shortest transfer/walk to the terminal.
While we recommend booking as early as possible, some operators accept bookings up to 24 hours or less before the arrival time. However, availability and price cannot be guaranteed for last-minute bookings.
You will immediately receive a confirmation email containing your booking reference, full directions to the car park/meeting point, and the specific contact details for the parking provider. Please read these instructions carefully.
For small changes (e.g., a flight delay of less than 6 hours), you generally do not need to notify us. However, for Meet & Greet services, it is best practice to call the parking operator directly (using the number on your confirmation) as soon as you know of a significant delay to coordinate the return of your car.
Yes, it is standard practice. The professional drivers are fully insured and the car is driven only to and from a secure, off-site compound. Ensure you choose a reputable provider—all partners on Fly Park Compare meet necessary security standards.
Park Mark is an award given to parking facilities that have been assessed by the police and meet high standards of safety and security, aiming to reduce crime and the fear of crime in car parks. We highlight car parks with this accreditation where possible.
Some airports charge a small fee for dropping off or picking up in the Meet & Greet/Short Stay car park areas. These fees are not always included in the initial booking price and must be paid directly to the car park provider or the airport. This will be detailed in the product information before you book.

Our cancellation policy varies depending on the product booked. Many bookings are non-refundable if cancelled within 24 or 48 hours of travel. Please refer to the specific Terms and Conditions accepted at the time of your original booking for full details.
Refunds are subject to the specific product's terms. Non-refundable promotional or 'Super Saver' rates will not be refunded. A small booking fee may be non-refundable even on flexible products. This is clarified on your booking confirmation.

Fly Park Compare acts as the booking agent. While we will forward your complaint to the provider, your contract is with the individual parking operator, and they are responsible for issues such as vehicle damage or service delays. We recommend taking photographic evidence at drop-off and addressing the issue with the operator immediately upon return.

Call your parking operator immediately (the number is on your confirmation). Most operators allow a grace period, but a fee may be charged for extended overstays, payable directly to the car park upon exit.
You should try to update your vehicle details (registration number) via the amendment process or by calling the operator as soon as possible. Failure to update Meet & Greet providers or car park systems could result in delays or entry/exit issues.
