You pay the current rate for the new dates, not the rate you originally booked — so moving into a busier period costs more. And moving to cheaper dates does not usually generate a refund of the difference.
Do it as early as you can. Amendments are far easier while there is still availability to move into.
Can I change the registration?
Yes, and it is normally free. This matters more than people expect, because most UK car parks read number plates automatically at the barrier.
A courtesy car, a hire car or borrowing a relative's vehicle all count. Ring as soon as you know rather than hoping the barrier will lift.
What if my flight is cancelled?
Ring rather than email, and ring early. On a flexible rate within the window you should get a refund, sometimes less a small admin fee.
